Required Skills & Experience

Must-haves: \nHands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.\nExperience onboarding enterprise applications into Entra ID.\nStrong understanding of SSO, SAML, OAuth, authentication, and identity/access concepts.\nExperience troubleshooting application integrations and authentication issues.\nAbility to collaborate with technical teams and application owners while working with limited oversight.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience migrating applications from Ping Identity to Microsoft Entra ID.\nExperience with Entra Identity Lifecycle workflows and joiner/mover/leaver automation.\nIAM workflow or identity governance experience.\nExperience with SailPoint, Okta, or similar IAM/IGA technologies.\nJava development knowledge or experience working closely with Java/software development teams.

Job Description

Our higher education client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Entra ID / IAM Analyst to support a large-scale migration of applications and SSO capabilities from Ping Identity to Microsoft Entra ID. This individual will join the Identity & Access Management team and provide hands-on support as the organization moves into the application migration phase of the initiative.\nThe primary focus of this role will be onboarding applications into Microsoft Entra ID, configuring SSO integrations, and troubleshooting issues throughout the migration process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with application owners, IAM resources, and development teams to drive migrations through completion.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the migration of enterprise applications from Ping Identity to Microsoft Entra ID.\nOnboard and configure applications within Entra ID.\nConfigure and troubleshoot SAML and OAuth-based SSO integrations.\nPartner with application owners, software development teams, and IAM resources to coordinate migrations and resolve technical issues.\nTroubleshoot authentication, access, and application onboarding issues.\nAssist with Entra Identity Lifecycle capabilities, including joiner, mover, and leaver processes.\nSupport or contribute to automated identity lifecycle workflows where applicable.\nDocument migration activities, configurations, issues, and resolutions.\nIndependently manage assigned application migrations and escalate technical issues when appropriate.
