Job Responsibilities Polish, buff and grind a wide variety of forged loopers of intricate shape or design, requiring extreme care and skill in shaping to close dimensions and tolerances. Check work using comparator, dial indicator, wing gauge. Select wheels, dressings, abrasives. Ability to build up blue surfaces, dress and balance all kinds of wheels. Read prints and job layouts. Follow verbal and written instructions. Skill Requirements High School Diploma. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 2 - 3 years’ experience with polishing small intricate parts to a fine controlled finish. Ability to follow, interpret, or read blueprints and schematics. Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work well as a team member or independently.
