As our practice continues to grow, we're excited to welcome a dedicated Dental Assistant to our patient-focused team!If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and are eager to grow your dental career, we'd love to meet you!Your Schedule: Mon: 8 AM–7 PM, Tue: 8 AM–12 PM, Wed, Thu: 8 AM–5 PM, Fri: 8 AM–12 PMPay rate: $20-$24/hrQualifications1+ year of dental assisting experience preferredDental assisting certificate from an accredited vocational school preferredCurrent BLS/CPR certification preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of preventive and restorative dental proceduresStrong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient careWhat You'll Do as a Dental AssistantAssist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.Take digital X-rays, panoramic images, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos.Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.Why Choose Smile Center of Round Lake?We're committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
