Position Summary

The Radiation Therapist delivers prescribed radiation treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment setup.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support departmental operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field is required.
• Diploma/Certification in Radiation Therapy is required.
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification or registry-eligible is required.
• Must be in good standing with registry requirements.
