This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference, whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC, beginning your Clinical Fellowship Year, or have a background in pediatrics and school-based therapy. Collaborate with educators and families as you support students’ communication needs across three nearby campuses.

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama SLP License (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Background in pediatric or school-based SLP services highly preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and document progress effectively
• Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and conduct assessments for K-12 students in individual and group settings
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with school staff and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district requirements
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to generalize skills in the classroom
• Provide services at three school sites within close proximity for a diverse and engaging caseload
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
