Role Overview

As a Radiology Patient Care Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in expediting patient care within the radiology department. You¿ll assist with processing patient imaging records and serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and radiology staff. Your ability to establish rapport and ensure smooth communication will directly contribute to a positive patient experience.

What You Will Do

• Assist with processing patient imaging records to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Greet patients in person and through various communication media to establish rapport.
• Coordinate with radiology staff to expedite patient care and streamline workflows.
• Maintain organized filing systems and manage telephone communications effectively.

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Knowledge of telephone usage and principles of filing.

Preferred

Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient care.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology, Radiology Information Systems, and Henry Ford Health Information system functions.
