Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Stroke StepdownWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical/Surgical care and Stroke Stepdown nursing. This role involves working with patients who require specialized care following a stroke, as well as other medical conditions requiring close monitoring and intervention.ScheduleThis position is for the night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a commitment to a flexible schedule.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on stroke recovery and related medical issues.Utilize specialized equipment including IV pumps, feeding tubes, and other medical technologies relevant to patient care.Monitor patient status and coordinate with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Administer medications and implement care plans as prescribed.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Medical/Surgical nursing with Stroke Stepdown experience required.Current Active NY State Registered Nurse License and verification of all active RN licenses.Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications; NIHSS certification can be obtained prior to start.Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.Must provide a Skills Checklist matching the specialty requirements.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
