Qualifications: Meet the definition of "qualifications" pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8b and demonstrated competency through the state-approved competency test pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8e. Complete all required county and WVDE trainings. Successful completion of the interview process. Criminal background check conducted pursuant to W. Va. Code 18-5-15c and/or 18A-3-10. Must have and maintain a valid Food Handler's card. Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodations. Additional minimum requirements: applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration. Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Job Description: Performing duties of Cook III including preparing bagged breakfast and bagged lunch as needed.

Summer Program 2026-2027 Dates: July 27th - 30th and August 3rd - 6th, 2026. Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.; completion of time sheet required; no compensation will be provided for forced closings. Salary: Based on the 2026 - 2027 salary scale C - commensurate with experience and education; paid through federal program funds. Employment contingent on student enrollment. Position may be cancelled during program dates dependent on student enrollment.
