Occupational Therapist

Description Senior Occupational Therapist at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Per‑Diem and works 8‑hour Day shifts. Responsibilities The position plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to the assigned age‑specific patient population (infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics) and participates in related continuing education. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member and provides assistance to co‑workers, patients, and visitors as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. California Occupational Therapist License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire. 3 years experience as an Occupational Therapist. Work experience in a Physical Disabilities setting. Experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of NICU clinical experience providing occupational therapy to infants, children or adolescents, or experience in an acute‑care hospital providing occupational therapy directly to infants, children or adolescents with a CCS‑eligible medical condition.
