Leasing Consultant - Arlington, TX

Job Overview As a Leasing Consultant at RangeWater, you will execute the property’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. You will perform all activities related to leasing new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals. Responsibilities Perform all sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours, and showing apartments. Process applications, conduct credit screening and criminal background checks, prepare lease packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in and lease signing. Complete accounting, financial, administrative, and reporting duties and perform other assigned tasks. Design and execute off‑site marketing activities to drive traffic to the property, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools, and social media. Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends to recommend improvements. Maintain knowledge of industry and leasing tools, technologies, and standards. Handle lease enforcement processes such as inspections, evictions, collections, and notifications. Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease decisions. Support the property’s lease renewal program, ensuring documents are signed on time. Respond promptly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns, troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed. Ensure property safety, cleanliness, and appearance; report mechanical, electrical, or injury incidents. Inspect show units and the leasing office daily to meet company show quality standards. Resolve customer complaints and issues. Stay informed about market and competitor conditions to sustain occupancy, and develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent; preferred experience in Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in internet usage, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, and/or One Site). Valid driver’s license. Physical ability to push, pull, lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, squat, and perform keyboard work. Availability to work weekends when scheduled and to perform essential job functions unaccompanied. Work Hours and Environment Schedule: 40 hours per week. Typical site hours may vary by location: Monday – Friday: 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m. Saturday: 10:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Sunday: 1:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. Work will include both office and outdoor environments with exposure to temperatures, weather, odors, and landscape conditions. Routine local travel may be required for meetings, training, and errands.
