Program Manager

CPI Composite Structures Division is a leading manufacturer specializing in the design and production of high-performance radomes and composite structures for both defense and commercial applications. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to oversee the development and manufacturing of radomes and composite components for aircraft, ground, and maritime applications. Position Overview The Program Manager will manage and coordinate programs related to the development of radomes and composite manufacturing, ensuring all goals—technical performance, cost, and schedule—are met while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. Key Responsibilities Program Planning and Execution – Lead planning, execution, and delivery of aerospace programs, developing comprehensive plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Track progress and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget. Ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements. Technical Coordination – Work closely with engineering to meet technical requirements and act as liaison between customer and internal teams. Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure smooth execution. Customer and Stakeholder Management – Maintain relationships, provide regular updates on status, risks, and deliverables, and serve as main point of contact. Risk Management and Mitigation – Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, implement corrective actions, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Program Reporting and Documentation – Maintain records of activities, financial tracking, risk assessments, and prepare updates for senior leadership. Salary $110,000 – $140,000 per year. Required Skills and Qualifications U.S. citizen. Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, technical, engineering, mathematics, or business. 1–5 years of program or project management experience in aerospace (radomes, composites, or similar). Defense and commercial experience preferred. Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and radome design, testing, and application. Strong technical background with aerospace engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with MIL‑STD, AS9100, and FAA certifications. Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, or equivalent). Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Additional Skills / Competencies Experience with risk management and mitigation strategy development. Ability to understand program KPIs and supply‑chain logistics. Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities. Desired Characteristics Strong leadership and ability to drive cross‑functional teams.
