As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Knoxville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and a people-first approach, while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shipping, receiving, warehouse, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas, with duties that may vary by location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing package handling areas, reporting hazards or suspicious behavior, and following post orders for logistics and distribution operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
