Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) (StubHub, Inc., Aliso Viejo, CA) Develop, optimize, and maintain backend and frontend components across multiple programming languages and frameworks, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cross-platform consistency (15%). Solve advanced technical challenges in areas such as concurrency, distributed data consistency, latency reduction, and cross-service interactions, applying best practices and rigorous problem-solving techniques (10%). Refactor and improve core platforms through system-level optimizations, infrastructure enhancements, and automation to increase stability, scalability, and developer efficiency (15%). Design and implement features and services that improve system responsiveness, operational reliability, and long-term maintainability, balancing technical innovation with production readiness (20%). Contribute to robust monitoring, observability, and incident-response processes, ensuring resilient and highly available platform operations (10%). Collaborate with engineering peers to review architectures, share technical knowledge, and adopt high standards for software design, testing, and deployment (10%). Implement technically complex solutions that advance platform capabilities, improve system performance, and support sustained operational excellence across multiple services (10%). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation, job title, position performing full-stack user experience (UX). In lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation, job title, position performing full-stack user experience (UX). Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience applying user- centered design principles to integrate business-critical functionalities to deliver a seamless user experience; 3 years of professional experience developing, maintaining, and improving web applications built with .NET and C#; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Typescript and React to build user interfaces (UIs) for web applications; 3 years of professional experience owning web application for web-based point-of-sale (POS) for ticket reselling; 3 years of professional experience writing SQL Server queries against large-scale data including optimization of stored procedures and query plan performance review; and 3 years of professional experience performing full-stack development, designing and implementing front-end and back-end solutions including building scalable APIs and microservices for global applications.
