In the role of Principal Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers with a focus on project management skills development.Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects, involving a large project Serve as a Champion for cross business group pursuits and initiativesEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsServe as a PIC, Project Sponsor, Client Manager for select projects and clientsResponsible for any project assignment regardless of market sector, business class, size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity or number of staff.Produce and coordinate several projects concurrentlyConduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholdersPartner with market sector and business class leadership to advance brand with regards to innovative technology and support staff engagement for use of these technologies throughout the area.Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and scheduleWork with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviewsImplement QA/QC proceduresPerform other duties as needed including workshare management Preferred QualificationsMaster's degreePMP certification#LI-MV3QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 15 years related experience A minimum 7 years project management experience Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
