Pump, Power and Climate Control Field Service Technician

Ready to keep critical power and HVAC systems online for customers across Catlett, VA? Join EquipmentShare’s Advanced Solutions rental facility and put your diagnostic skills to work with support from our T3 technology platform—and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

What’s the schedule?

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overtime after 40 hours
On-call rotation may apply with additional compensation

What you’ll tackle

Create, prioritize, and close work orders using laptops/tablets in T3.
Track service intervals, order parts, and use real-time machine data to speed up troubleshooting.
Perform field and shop maintenance/repairs on: generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, commercial HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
Safely diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.
Independently or with teammates, set up and operate equipment on customer sites.
Document every task daily in complete electronic work orders.
Assist with training junior techs; share hands-on knowledge.
Help with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.
Apply OSHA awareness and safe job practices (preferred).
Engage in year-round, company-provided OEM training.

Do you have what it takes?

Bring your own tools
Advanced mechanical aptitude; strong tool proficiency
Experience servicing power generators and/or commercial HVAC
Comfort calculating tonnage and kW needs; read schematics confidently
Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication
EPA 608 preferred or obtained within 6–12 months

Education & Experience

High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred
Field service/maintenance/repair experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; 21+ to operate company vehicle

Physical Requirements

Move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
Lift up to 50 lbs
Clean-shaven may be required by some customer worksites
This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 paneldrugscreen
