American General Media (AGM) is looking for a motivated, results-oriented Digital

Marketing Account Executive to help local businesses grow through innovative digital

advertising solutions. This is not an internal marketing position. It is a dedicated sales

role designed for someone who thrives on developing new business, building lasting

client relationships, and helping businesses succeed through strategic digital marketing.

As a Digital Marketing media consultant, you will own your territory, build your own

book of business, and serve as a trusted marketing consultant for businesses

throughout the Bakersfield market. If you are passionate about digital advertising and

enjoy the challenge of growing revenue while delivering measurable results for clients,

What You'll Do

? Prospect and develop new business opportunities throughout the Bakersfield

market.

? Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

? Conduct needs assessments to understand clients business goals and

marketing challenges.

? Create customized digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

? Present proposals and close new business.

? Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional

customer service.

? Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with recommendations and

performance reviews.

? Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.

? Represent AGM at community events, networking functions, and local business

organizations.

? Collaborate with radio Account Executives on integrated marketing opportunities

while maintaining responsibility for your own client portfolio.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

? Minimum two years of experience in outside sales, media sales, digital

advertising, marketing, or business development.

? Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and close sales.

? Strong presentation and communication skills.

? Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling abilities.

? Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.

? Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

? Experience selling digital advertising, media, marketing services, or business

solutions.

? Knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Advertising, SEO, SEM, CTV/OTT, and

programmatic advertising.

? Experience using CRM platforms and sales management software.

? Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field is

preferred but not required.
