Work Schedule Tuesday 10:00am-6:00pm with 1-hour lunch break Wednesday 11:00am-6:00pm with 1-hour lunch break Thursday 10:00am-6:00pm with 1-hour lunch break Rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program One year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Three years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if no work experience Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Benefits Employees scheduled for 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
