This role is ideal for an experienced Behavioral Health or Substance Use Disorder Nurse Manager or Supervisor looking to take the next step into a Director of Nursing position with strong mentorship and support.

As Director of Nursing, you'll oversee nursing operations and set the clinical standard for the facility:

• Lead and manage nursing teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Provide coaching, development, and mentorship to nurse leaders and staff
• Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and state regulations
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
• Monitor clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment goals
• Participate in leadership meetings and support strategic decision-making

MUST HAVE:

• Active RN license (Texas)
• BSN strongly preferred
• 3+ years RN experience (6+ preferred)
• Behavioral health nursing experience: 1 year required, 2+ preferred (inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric, addiction recovery, or related)
• 2+ years of progressive leadership or management experience required
• Prior Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager experience preferred
