Position Overview


The Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and lead a high-performing inside sales team focused on driving net new revenue growth and customer acquisition. As our organization continues to grow, we are expanding our sales leadership team and adding this additional role. This role requires a strategic leader with strong sales acumen, a data-driven approach, and a passion for coaching and motivating teams to exceed targets. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on manager, capable of building a strong sales culture and driving consistent results through proactive prospecting and pipeline development. We are a results-driven organization, and success will be measured by consistent revenue growth and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals.

Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, pipeline metrics, and conversion rates to optimize team performance.

Sales Execution:

• Perform weekly 1:1s to assess performance, provide guidance, and hold team members accountable.
• Motivate and drive sales reps to execute on monthly goals.
• Help the team deliver consistent effort to meet targets.
• Lead by example by stepping in to close deals when needed.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to sharpen sales skills and improve results.
• Provide data insights to inform and shape strategic sales initiatives.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, product, and BDR teams to align sales strategies with business goals.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of high velocity/high volume sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed revenue targets.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM platforms.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Experience in SaaS or B2B sales preferred.
• K-12 industry experience is a plus.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on accountability and execution.
• Cellphone or personal device to receive MFA (multi-factor authentication) texts or calls.
• Have an internet connection that's adequate for their job, a minimum of 10Mbps down.
