Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

Position requires three 12-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities as needed. Please note that there are no block scheduling requests available.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties.
  • Demonstrate nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions effectively.
  • Contribute to fostering a healthy workplace by managing conflicts and utilizing professional communication skills.
  • Fulfill Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain and enhance nursing competencies.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Licenses and Certifications Required
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification

  • Pediatrics
  • Other specialized units as required
