Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2190 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles; candidates must have a 6-month employment separation to be considered for a travel position. To receive travel rate, claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license required for RNs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark, 2 attempts allowed.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: May float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
