Introduction Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to provide care for cats and dogs. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality, comprehensive small animal medicine supported by advanced diagnostic tools. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position is available on a full-time basis. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. Responsibilities include conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. The role involves performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The veterinarian will communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care, and participate in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with on-site digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment as well as an in-house laboratory to support efficient diagnostics and treatment. Founded in 1927, the practice is AAHA Accredited and recognized as a Cat Friendly Practice, and holds an outstanding 4.7-star Google rating. Services offered include dentistry, laser therapy, and surgery. The practice offers extensive services covering preventative care, dentistry, and critical care, and specializes in advanced diagnostic imaging and surgery, enabling comprehensive patient management from wellness exams to more complex cases. Care is delivered using dedicated, species-specific protocols including specialized Kitten Care and Cat Anesthesia, as well as Senior Dog Care and specialized Dog Behavior consultations, ensuring a tailored approach for every patient. Team The veterinary team includes 5 DVMs working collaboratively to provide high-quality patient care.
