Cash Management Analyst

Function

The Cash Management team is responsible for handling all cash events within the Funds. Day-to-day tasks include:

• Processing wires and cash reconciliation
• Maintaining bank accounts and relationships
• Actioning audit requests and managing collateral
• Performing analysis to reduce cash drag
• Coordinating with administrators and trustees
• Assisting in liquidity analysis to ensure sufficient cash on hand

Position Description

Whitecap Search is looking for a motivated individual to join the Cash Management team. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct treasury operational tasks including processing wires for investment fundings and transfers
• Assist in liquidity management to ensure funds cover upcoming needs
• Manage the opening, closing, and maintenance of Fund bank accounts
• Oversee daily cash reconciliations and manage overseas reconciliation team
• Liaise with fund administrators, trustees, and auditors
• Focus on process improvement and automation of activities
• Assist with testing new processes and technologies
• Lead special projects and ad hoc analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields; 2 - 4 years of experience
• Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of reconciliations and cash management operations
• Ability to manage and organize various project levels
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with complex fund structures
• Familiarity with FIS/SunGard VPM accounting and Indus Valley Partners' products is a plus
