About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and experienced Fractional CFO to play a pivotal role in ensuring financial sustainability, optimizing financial operations, and supporting strategic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level financial strategy, enhancing predictive cash flow models, and supporting the transition to an automated payment and reimbursement system. Key responsibilities include strategic financial leadership, budget and cash flow architecture, and financial management. The role also involves team leadership, systems integration, and operational overlap, as well as grant compliance and accounting oversight. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, CMA, or MBA in finance, with at least 10 years' of relevant experience, and a strong background in nonprofit accounting, particularly in the area of restricted fund accounting and compliance for complex grant portfolios. Applicants for the Fractional CFO position at the company should possess a deep understanding of nonprofit financial management, including grant reporting and compliance, organizational budget management, and financial systems integration. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in senior financial leadership, tech mastery in financial systems, and experience in leading a team through software or expense system implementation.
