Owen Daniels is a specialist STEM recruitment and staffing firm founded in 2011. We excel in providing flexible recruitment solutions to organizations globally. After a successful 15 years in the UK, we opened our first international office in Chicago to support existing clients and grow the US market.

This is a key early hire for our US entity, working side by side with our Managing Director for North America. You'll own the technical search and delivery for our key and emerging clients, with one-to-one mentorship and support.

This position will help shape how this business looks as it grows in a new market, with the autonomy, upside, and challenges that come with growth and new territory.

What the role involves

• Sourcing and delivering technical talent end to end for key and emerging clients, with a focus on candidate experience and customer service.
• Working closely with the Managing Director to understand client needs, and supporting hiring managers and senior stakeholders throughout the search.
• Mapping your talent market, building deep expertise with candidates, and becoming the go-to in your specialism.
• Building long-term relationships with candidates and clients. Repeat business is why we've been successful.
• Representing Owen Daniels in every conversation, including on-site with clients and at industry events.

Experience required

• 3+ years in agency recruitment, specifically in Engineering or Manufacturing. Aerospace, Defense and complex industries highly desirable.
• A proven sourcing and delivery performer who is motivated by owning the whole search process.
• Ability to hold credible technical conversations with candidates and senior hiring managers.
• Self-motivated and happy in an SME where initiative counts.
