X-Ray Technologist

Location: Eureka, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 5×8 hours
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
On-Call: Required

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in an acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong radiologic technology skills, be comfortable floating between similar units, and be available for required on-call coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established imaging protocols and safety standards.
• Float between like units as needed to support operational requirements.
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage .
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable imaging standards.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures using the Epic charting system.
• Maintain patient safety and provide appropriate care throughout imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience .
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Active California Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Pending licenses are not accepted .
• Local candidates are accepted.
• Ability to work the scheduled day shift and participate in on-call coverage.
