Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to manage components of highly complex, high-profile IT projects and program initiatives with a strong focus on Digital Delivery and AI-enabled solutions . The Project Manager will drive projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget while following established project management methodologies and governance.


This role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to gather requirements, manage risks, track progress, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise systems integration and third-party implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple complex IT projects, including digital and AI initiatives, from pilot through production.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts: project plans, schedules, risk & issue logs, communication plans, and stakeholder registers.
• Prepare and present executive-level project status, dashboards, and communications.
• Coordinate with business units, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure successful implementation and acceptance of deliverables.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Facilitate large group meetings and cross-functional workshops.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Act as escalation point for vendor delivery issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, compliance, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years managing large, complex technical/IT projects.
• Strong experience with IT SDLC and enterprise systems integration.
• Experience driving digital delivery and AI-related projects.
• Proven ability to create and manage project documentation and artifacts.
• Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and educating users on standardized processes.
• Experience facilitating large group and cross-functional meetings.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Hands-on project manager capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with State of Texas government agencies.
• PMP and/or CBAP certification.
• Agile Coach or Scrum Master certification/experience
