Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.I2X Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active TS/SCI.Responsibilities:Performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment enabling Space Domain Awareness and Space Defense.Provide first level technical support to the customer and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software and networks.Document and report all events/issues to leadership.Receive tasking and direction from the leadership for all operations, test & real world events.Assist in maintenance of user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.Operates and sustains the mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions.Performs other duties and assignments as required.Qualifications:Minimum Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).3 years of professional experienceSound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.Experience in system and/or network administration that include the following (UNIX, Linux, and Windows).Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.Experienced in data flow usage and ability to troubleshoot with internal and external agencies to establish network connectivity.Preferred Quals:Experience and knowledge of Missile Defense SystemsLinux Certification (Linux Essentials, Linux+, LPIC-1, RHCSA)Experience using Confluence and JiraBasic scripting (Bash)Active Directory experienceEssential Requirements:US Citizenship is required.In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds.
