Lanessa Extended Care - Lanessa Extended Care is seeking dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our team in Webster! As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. Responsibilities Screens patients/residents, evaluates, and develops appropriate care plans Provides direct patient treatment in accordance with established plans of care Participates in the clinical team process, contributes to team meetings, and decision-making Consults with patients, residents, and caregivers Documents activities according to company clinical documentation system Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisors Participates in census building and marketing activities, quality improvement initiatives, and service excellence initiatives Exhibits courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and colleagues Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Massachusetts PT license Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care Requires intense attention and concentration Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others Benefits Weekly Pay Holiday & Overtime Pay Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program 401(k) with Employer Match Available for Full-Time Staff Employer-Paid Life Insurance Vacation and Personal Time Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
