Job Summary :
Ski School Support Staff employees work in a fun high paced indoor/outdoor environment supporting all functions of ski/snowboard school operations outside of instruction. The role has high guest interaction supporting children's programming, rental operations, guest check-in/out, lesson scanning, and lesson area lift operations.
Job Specifications:
Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $31.00hr
Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age

Job Responsibilities:
- Support children’s ski school throughout the day by participating in a variety of activities:
- Determining proper size for ski or snowboard boots for children
- Setting ski or snowboard equipment to proper setting
- Scanning ski school students to confirm that they have a ticket and lesson booked
- Answering questions for guests either outside or inside to be sure they are aware of where they need to drop off and pickup their child, what they need to purchase to have a lesson and what to expect during the day.
- Work with instructors and supervisors to manage the young children (ages 3-6) outside, on the snow, in the beginner area, during their lessons.
- Help bring children (3-6 years-old) to use the bathroom so the rest of the class is not interrupted in their lesson.
- Assist children on or off the magic carpet (a conveyor belt that brings the children up the incline to the “top” of the beginner area)
- Monitor or “run” the magic carpet.
- Assist the children when they are inside at lunch or when they need to be brought inside because they are sick or unhappy.
- Setup the lunch area and assist the inside supervisor in cleaning the kitchen after lunch.
- Other duties as needed – you must be willing to work on the snow in our beginner area for several hours throughout the day helping instructors manage their classes of young children (3-6 year olds)
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment
Fluent in all aspects of English language
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Strong communication skills with a wide variety of guests and employees
Strong computer skills, typing, and data entry preferred
Early childhood care experience preferred
Ski or snowboarding experience to assist lessons as necessary preferred
Successfully pass the background check required
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $31.00hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
