Job Description: Join the surgical team as a circulating RN in the operating room at Mercy Hospital Southeast, located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This role involves supporting a variety of procedures, including general, neuro, urology, gynecology, and orthopedic surgeries, often working with advanced equipment such as the DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair. The circulating nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing perioperative patient care, acting as a patient advocate, and ensuring smooth surgical workflows. You’ll be expected to adapt to different case types and work with a dedicated team, all while gaining experience in a busy, innovative surgical environment. The schedule features four 10‑hour day shifts per week, with a mix of scheduled late shifts and rotating weekend call, providing a balanced work rhythm that keeps things engaging but manageable.
