Job Title: Facilities Specialist

Location: Inglewood, CA

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $25-$35 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Temporary, 60-90 days
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (30-minute to 1-hour lunch)

Job Summary:

• Serve as the sole on-site facilities support across two nearby locations - a distribution center with office space and a creative center
• Operate independently with minimal direction, proactively identifying issues and knowing when to escalate
• Manage vendors and coordinate maintenance and repairs (partnering with vendors on issues like HVAC or pest control rather than handling them directly)
• Ensure office readiness and respond promptly to employee workplace requests
• Oversee access, security, and supplies across both locations
• Support evolving space needs and help document and improve current facilities processes
• Maintain day-to-day tidiness and upkeep at both sites

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience blending office management and vendor management
• Comfortable working independently with minimal direction; proactive about identifying and escalating issues
• Process-improvement mindset; experience introducing trackers or streamlining workflows a plus
• Proficient with Google Suite, Slack, and phone systems
• Genuine hospitality mindset with a positive, "can-do" attitude
• Comfortable in a casual, energetic, fast-paced office environment
• Willing and able to split time between two locations across the street from each other
