Maintenance Technician / Production: Big Bend, Wisconsin
Our customer in Big Bend, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting a Maintenance Technician / Production to work fulltime on 1st shift. As a Maintenance Technician / Production, you will be responsible for supporting production operations by maintaining manufacturing equipment, facilities, and overseeing daily maintenance activities.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician / Production:
- Create and manage work schedules and post daily maintenance assignments.
- Complete daily maintenance work assignments.
- Proactively address production, warehouse, and facility maintenance issues.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, welding, brazing, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct department and facility inspections.
- Respond proactively to general repair needs.
- Oversee shift operations for maintenance personnel on the production floor.
Maintenance Technician / Production Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a food manufacturing environment or related industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in plumbing, electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in different areas including production, packing, and sanitation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and properly use PPE.
Pay for Maintenance Technician / Production: $35.00–$40.00/hour.
