Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage billing processes for freight services
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Assist with financial reporting related to freight billing
Required Skills:
- Experience in customs compliance and international logistics
- Knowledge of freight management and warehouse management
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics and freight forwarding
- Ability to work with transportation management systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Logistics Planning
- Bill of Lading
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with air freight and customs brokerage
- Knowledge of LTL, intermodal, and third-party logistics
- Understanding of cycle counting and supplier management
- Experience with import and export processes
Salary and Benefits:
The starting salary for the Freight Billing Clerk position is $36,000 per year. In addition, General Equipment & Supply offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, sick leave, holiday pay, and paid time off.
