One day you may be helping track contract-related documentation, expense reimbursements, or invoices; the next you may be coordinating onboarding activities, supporting recruiting efforts, or helping improve an internal process. If you're organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a growing business, you'll thrive in this role.Your MissionGovernment Contracting, Finance & Compliance SupportSupport day-to-day government contracting operations by maintaining contract-related documentation, trackers, and records; assisting with compliance activities; and helping ensure alignment with customer, company, and regulatory requirements. Review contract documents, FAR clauses, flowdowns, modifications, and other contractual requirements to identify obligations, support internal implementation, and help maintain compliance. Assist with finance-related administrative activities, including invoice coordination, expense reimbursements, reporting, and operational recordkeeping. Help ensure business records remain organized, accurate, audit-ready, and aligned with company and customer expectations.Business Operations SupportSupport internal business operations by coordinating workflows, maintaining documentation and trackers, assisting with process improvements, and helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly as the company grows.People Operations & Recruiting SupportAssist with recruiting and people operations activities, including interview coordination, onboarding and offboarding support, employee documentation, benefits administration, and other employee lifecycle processes.Project & Team CoordinationCoordinate internal projects and team initiatives by tracking timelines, action items, and deliverables, supporting meeting preparation and follow-up activities, and helping teams stay organized and aligned on priorities.Additional SupportPerform other administrative, operational, and coordination duties as needed to support the evolving priorities of a growing government contracting business.Your Required Skills & ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience5+ years of experience supporting business operations, government contracting, finance, compliance, human resources, or a related operational function.Experience working in a government contracting, regulated, small business, or startup environment preferred.Familiarity with contract administration, compliance tracking, and operational documentation.Experience supporting administrative finance functions such as invoicing, expense reimbursements, reporting, recordkeeping, or vendor coordination.Experience coordinating multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle sensitive business and employee information with discretion and professionalism.SkillsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to maintain accurate documentation, trackers, records, and business processes.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Experience using business systems such as project management, HRIS, payroll, accounting, or collaboration platforms.PreferredFamiliarity with government contracting concepts such as FAR clauses, flowdowns, contract compliance, customer requirements, or related federal contracting processes.Experience supporting multiple business functions, including operations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, finance, or project coordination.Experience with platforms such as Monday.com, Gusto, QuickBooks, Greenhouse, SharePoint, or Google Workspace.Why Explorers StayComprehensive healthcare benefits.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO).Collaborative and supportive team culture focused on growth and continuous learning.Opportunities to expand into broader business ownership areas.Meaningful work supporting mission-driven programs with real-world impact.How We WorkTeam members are expected to actively engage through Slack, Teams, email, Monday.com, and other collaboration tools during standard business hours.Availability for meetings and collaboration between 9AM–5PM EST is expected.About Via LogicVia Logic LLC is an information technology partner supporting mission-driven work across DevSecOps, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, data science, and national security analytics for federal and commercial clients.
