We're seeking exceptional Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who want a true partner in their career journey. Before presenting any opportunity, we thoroughly assess each facility's safety protocols, including security presence, emergency response procedures, de-escalation training, adequate staffing ratios, and nurse support systems. Our mission is to help great Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners choose their path in nursing with confidence and security.
Hourly pay rate: $100-$125
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Active New York State Issued RN License/Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Must have experience in providing adult and child psychiatric services.
- Minimum of 1-year experience serving people with developmental disabilities required
- BLS & ACLS certificate
- Must be willing and able to commute to multiple facilities within a 60 mile radius
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, nurses, social workers, and direct care staff.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries in secure settings
- Psychotropic medication knowledge (antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antidepressants, anxiolytics)
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Strong communication skills
