Advance your career as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from ASAP through the end of the academic year.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, school-based hours
- Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience with fine and gross motor skill development
- Previous work in school or pediatric settings is preferred
- Experience collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff
- Assess and address the fine and gross motor needs of K-12 students within a school setting
- Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and COTAs to ensure cohesive support strategies
- Educate school staff and families on techniques to encourage student independence and skill development
