Lead Cashier

The Advantage Dealer Group is a multi-dealership group with 7 stores and over 500 employees. We are continuing to grow and look internally for growth and advancement opportunities. We are currently searching for a lead cashier to manage our cashier team at our Acura of Naperville store. We are looking for a candidate with high organization skills, with focus on detail, and possesses a strong leadership acumen. Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, efficient, quality service to all customers at all times
• Excellent attendance is expected, and call-ins must be made prior to the start of your scheduled shift to your manager when you are unable to report to work or will be late
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
• Ensure that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and according to dealership guidelines. Contact manager when appropriate
• Answer all phone calls promptly and route calls to appropriate parties. Messages will be taken when necessary.
• Balance cash drawer and beginning and end of shift
• Close out all Service RO's and Parts invoices in a timely manner
• Process all financial transactions (cash, checks, or credit) and issue appropriate receipts
• Balance the cash, checks, and credit transactions daily
• It will be cashiers' responsibility to ensure all cash, checks, keys, and confidential material is accounted for and secured during and at end of shift.
• Stocking in new vehicles
• Write Purchase Orders for gas and post to correct accounts
• Assist in other administrative duties including, but not limited to scanning, sorting and filing
• Responsible for keeping coffee machine filled and cleaned daily
• Order coffee supplies once a month
• Schedule cashier's and make monthly calendar so there is always coverage during business hours
• Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
• Must be punctual and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
• Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
• Other duties as assigned by management
