Data Consultant Location: US - Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Consultant with strong expertise in GCP data platform architecture, secure data governance, and AI/ML integrations . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable cloud data solutions using Google Cloud technologies. Required Skills
- Strong experience with GCP Data Platform Architecture .
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Google BigQuery
- Google Cloud Dataflow
- Managed Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer)
- Strong knowledge of secure data governance , including:
- NIST CSF
- Assured Workloads
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Data Encryption
- Experience with AI/ML integrations , including:
- Vertex AI
- Agent Builder
- BigQuery Conversational Analytics
- Design and implement scalable GCP data platform architectures .
- Develop and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer .
- Establish secure data governance and protection frameworks across GCP environments.
- Implement data security controls involving DLP, encryption, Assured Workloads, and NIST CSF .
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities using Vertex AI, Agent Builder, and BigQuery Conversational Analytics .
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to define architecture and implementation strategies.
- Support data platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on data architecture, governance, security, and AI integration.
- Troubleshoot data platform issues and recommend improvements.
- Experience migrating data platforms from Azure Data Lake to GCP .
- Experience with cloud data modernization and migration projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
