Front Desk Supervisor

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the Hotel Front Desk shift and assuring that guests have a favorable hotel and gaming experience. Responsibilities include verifying incoming reservations and room blocks, assuring all rooms are properly coded, verifying transaction of desk clerks to assure accuracy and correcting errors, ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers, supervising programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries, reviewing staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment, delegating authority and assigning responsibilities, development of staff, training, and evaluation, managing departments financial data maintaining all master accounts, reviewing front desk shift activities with Front Office Manager, meeting with departmental directors and managers as necessary, and adhering to all applicable Innkeepers Laws, Gaming promotions, and regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include two to five years' experience as a front desk clerk or reservationist with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required. The ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience. Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
