Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Supervise and oversee nursing and PCA/CNA services to clients. Create, review, and modify as necessary client care plans. Confer with physician in developing the initial plan of treatment. Work with physicians and health care professionals for quality patient and client care. Accurately, promptly and thoroughly document patient’s care observations, interventions and evaluations. Help clients and families cope with illness, disability. Instruct clients and families as necessary. Competencies & Qualifications: B.S. degree in nursing from an accredited college/university Experience supervising nurses and CNAs in a clinical or private environment Experience in Private Home Care/Healthcare is a plus Experience administering appropriate medication based on patients' histories Knowledge of the uses and typical dosages of medications Responsibilities: Completing home visits (1 visit per client every 4 – 6 weeks) and observe RN, LPN, or PCA/CNA to ensure clients are receiving proper care Provide instruction to RNs, LPNs, PCA/CNAs as necessary Reviewing RN’s, LPN’s, or PCA/CNA’s notes and client action forms Discuss client’s progress, health, care plan, and daily care with observed RN, LPN, or PCA/CNA and owners/operators Assist with Training and Continuing Education by providing training on personal care procedures and additional topics as needed Prepares monthly reports for CEO and President #J-18808-Ljbffr
