Dental Assistant PositionLakeshore Family Dentistry in Greendale, WI is looking for a Dental Assistant to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.What we offer:Competitive hourly pay: $23.00 with a prime-time rate of $30.00 per hour for hours worked between 5:00 PM–7:00 PMFull-time Schedule: Tuesdays 7am-7pm (lunch 12pm-2pm), Wednesdays 2pm-7pm (no lunch), Thursdays 7am-7pm (lunch 1pm-2pm) & Fridays 7am-3pm (lunch 11:30am-12pm)Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and disability benefits401(k) planSupport for continuing education and professional developmentModern office with advanced dental technologyResponsibilities:Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.Qualifications:One year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)High school diploma or equivalentStrong customer service and communication skillsPositive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learnReliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanorDental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.Legal Disclaimer: We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
