Staff Accountant (QuickBooks)- Hybrid Flexibility

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks , a solid understanding of general accounting principles, and the ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting monthly close and reporting processes. This position features one day of remote work per week. Perform daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month‑end and year‑end close Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks , ensuring proper classification of transactions Create, update, and analyze spreadsheets using Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliations) Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation Monitor expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies #J-18808-Ljbffr
