PRN MRI Technologist

Overview Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. This is a PRN (as needed) position to assist with vacation coverage, call-outs, and other staffing needs. Location: PRN coverage for outpatient centers in Madison and Huntsville. Schedule: daytime and evening coverage, with occasional weekend shifts. Evening and weekend hours are eligible for shift differential pay. Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations following approved protocols to acquire diagnostic quality images. Prepare patients and equipment, ensure safety, and monitor for adverse reactions. Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to optimize imaging procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and image labeling; adhere to radiation safety guidelines. Provide patient-centered care and contribute to a positive imaging experience. Qualifications Education: Minimum associates degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited two-year radiology program. Licensure/Certification: Registered by ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT; MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT required upon hire; must maintain current registration. State licensure as applicable.
