Cardio Device Clinic Registered Nurse – Heart & Vascular Specialists – Clinic – Full-Time, Days Location: Rotational 1300 West Terrell Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 6100 Harris Parkway, Suite 1200, Fort Worth, TX 76133 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly Hours may vary beginning as early as 7:00 am and ending 4:30 pm Travel: 25% to surrounding clinics (mileage reimbursement provided) Highlights Strong teamwork and collaboration Compassion and empathy toward patients and the team Innovative environment focused on accessible, integrated, and reliable healthcare Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) RN license upon hire (required) ACLS certification upon hire (required) BCLS certification upon hire (required) 1 year experience in a specialty area (e.g., cardiovascular) may be required 1 year related experience in a device clinic or acute hospital nursing setting (preferred) Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) Excellent interpersonal skills Responsibilities Deliver patient care using the RN process Perform general nursing triage and specific nursing care related to the device clinic specialty Obtain and document health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and risk factors Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws Perform device interrogation of pacemakers and defibrillators, including interpretation and reprogramming per physician protocols Program pacemakers and AICD devices independently while having cardiologist review all changes Analyze algorithms, EKGs, and interrogation data; prepare preliminary reports for cardiologists Troubleshoot cardiac devices and take immediate steps to resolve problems, consulting physicians as needed Educate patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions Document assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms and automated systems Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes Perform other duties as assigned Benefits 401(k), PTO, medical, dental, paid parental leave, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment program, and other benefits High quality patient care through education, research, and nursing innovation Strong unit-based council (UBC) Supportive team environment with growth opportunities Interested candidates may contact View email address on click.appcast.io with questions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Texas Health Resources
