Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a rewarding contract position. This onsite opportunity is located in the vibrant Jersey City, NJ area and offers collaboration across four elementary locations with diverse, eager learners.

You'll engage with a manageable caseload of 30-40 students, delivering tailored instruction and contributing to evaluations that help shape individualized educational plans. Working onsite full time from 8am to 4pm, you’ll be part of a dedicated group, positively impacting the school community and building essential skills for students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate (NJ Teaching Cert)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly at the elementary level
• Proven ability to manage caseloads with diverse student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Flexibility navigating multiple school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to elementary students across four locations
• Conduct student evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt curriculum to meet individualized learning goals
