Sheriff's Radiologic Technologist I / Trainee*

The Job

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is recruiting for Radiologic Technologists who perform radiographic procedures employing the use of x-rays to produce images of various parts of the body for the diagnosis of pathological and traumatic disorders. Radiologic Technologists move and position patients; perform radiographic examinations of patients; instruct and direct Radiologic Technologist Trainees and students in the use of equipment, proper techniques and procedures in a locked detention facility. The resulting eligibility list may be used to fill future vacancies in the Sheriff's Department.

Minimum Requirements

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS & LICENSESState of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist CertificationHealthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Health AssociationRegistration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCERadiological Technologist Trainee:No experience required.Radiological Technologist:Two (2) years of experience in a medical institution as a registered x-ray technologist.
