Manufacturing Set-Up Mechanic 1st and 2nd shift

Job Overview We are searching for a Set‑Up Mechanic I to work full‑time in our New London, CT facility. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment. Responsibilities Perform changeover, startup, and troubleshooting of automated and semi‑automated production lines. Support the department in achieving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory objectives. Monitor machinery output to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met. Maintain cGMP record keeping. Use root‑cause analysis and countermeasure tools to identify and resolve mechanical problems. Required Skills and Qualifications At least one year of experience in machine set‑up or production equipment operation, or proven mechanical aptitude such as small‑engine repair or trade school training. Strong computer skills, including Outlook and Excel. High mechanical comprehension and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
