Responsibilities

Pediatrix & Obstetrix® is seeking an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic 7-physician MFM team in beautiful Tampa, Florida. This is an opportunity to practice at the forefront of perinatal care while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance.

• Diverse Practice Setting: Enjoy a mix of office and hospital-based work across 4 hospitals and multiple office locations — with no delivery service .
• Collaborative Environment: Partner with OB Hospitalists and Neonatology teams at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital , featuring a 76-bed Level IV NICU and 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage .
• Extended Reach: Provide care at Advent, Morton Plant, and Meese Countryside Hospitals , including a high-risk clinic in collaboration with BayCare Health .
• Flexible Call Schedule: No obstetrical deliveries , with a 1:6 call rotation for hospital consults and ultrasound coverage—typically 5 calls per month and one weekend every 6 weeks .
• Advanced Technology: Access state-of-the-art perinatal ultrasound equipment and work with fetal echo-certified ultrasonographers .
• Academic Engagement: Opportunity to teach with the new OB/GYN residency program launching at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in July 2026 .
