Vehicle Service Contract Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is looking for a Vehicle Service Contract Specialist who would be responsible for managing inbound claims, reviewing contract coverage, and determining claim eligibility based on contract terms and conditions. This individual will assess repair diagnoses and estimates submitted by service providers, evaluate the need for inspections, and deliver a high level of customer service throughout the claim resolution process.

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, service advisor, or within a dealership/service department environment
* Industry certifications such as ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training are preferred
* Experience reviewing vehicle repair estimates and diagnosing mechanical issues
* Ability to evaluate coverage eligibility and make informed claim decisions based on contract provisions
* Proven ability to communicate claim approvals, denials, and next steps clearly and professionally
* Experience obtaining, reviewing, and validating repair estimates for covered repairs
* Ability to verify labor times, parts pricing, and repair costs for accuracy
* Strong negotiation skills with experience working directly with repair facilities on pricing and scope of work
* Ability to meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems and repairs
* Ability to interpret service contracts and apply coverage guidelines appropriately.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive claims experience
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities
* Critical thinking and sound decision-making skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Collaborative team player with a proactive and customer-focused mindset

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
